Canada Career Month

       Now that Halloween has come to an end, I’m sure you’re already thinking about the December Holiday’s.  But, don’t get too excited just yet, because November is Canada Career Month! CareerZone presents our Canada Career Month theme for 2023 (drumroll please) .... “Navigate Your Journey!” 

    Canada Career Month happens every November celebrating the meaningful work of employees just like you! This month is about promoting positive health, social and economic outcomes for individuals, institutions and communities. You might be asking yourself, why is Canada Career Month important and why should I care? Well Badgers, it’s important to celebrate the access to meaningful work and connections, just like CareerZone’s space and resources! 

 From November 6th-24th come by CareerZone or CareerZone on-the-go to pick up a Canada Career Month Student Passport to complete! The passport includes visiting the CZ photobooth, getting a document reviewed, or interacting with our CareerZone-on-the-Go! Make sure to also keep an eye out for CareerZone cafes that happen every Wednesday from 12-1pm in-person and Thursday 6-7pm virtually. These cafes will cover our typical CareerZone topics as well as specific cafes for Canada Career Month! Don’t worry if you eat all of your Halloween candy in one night, because every student who completes the passport receives a piece of candy! Even more exciting folks, your name will be entered into a series of draws throughout the month!
