How, you ask?
Well, first of all, blogging helps to increase your visibility and credibility online. If you know a lot about a specific topic/field and blog about it frequently - others will soon begin to notice and "follow" your blog, and may even write comments on your posts!
**Hint: Follow other people's blogs too - if they see you commenting on their posts and/or following their blog, they're likely to check out your page as well!
By blogging you are working to build your personal brand online and reinforce who you are and what you stand for.
Building an online community through blogging helps you connect with other people who have similar interests, work in the field you are interested in, or happen to be recruiting for your position of interest!
You're building your network and enabling yourself to demonstrate your expertise and interest in the field.
